Introducing the Climate Bridges Network's first campaign
We are excited to launch the first campaign of the Climate Bridges Network, a transnational initiative uniting 32 organizations across Southeastern Europe. Together, we are committed to driving forward climate action and fostering collaboration for a sustainable future in the region. The Climate Bridges Network strengthens transnational and cross-sectoral cooperation and knowledge exchange. By uniting diverse organizations and authorities, forces are joined in key areas such as decarbonization, depollution, circular economy, and biodiversity protection thereby supporting the implementation of the EU Green Deal and Green Agenda for the Western Balkans.
Our first campaign aims to raise awareness about the climate crisis and its impacts on local communities in the Western Balkans. This effort is centered around two key objectives: education – informing communities about the specific impacts of climate change in their regions to help them prepare and adapt, and secondly engagement – encouraging active participation in climate action initiatives to foster collective responsibility and empowerment.
Over the next two months, we will share impactful campaign videos created by organizations from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, and Slovenia. The purpose of these videos is to showcase the local realities of the climate crisis and inspire communities to take action.
